The Brilliance of Oil, a new short documentary that can be viewed on the video player at the top, illustrates the idea that anything is possible. In 2000, a unique and innovative project began in South Sudan, while the country was embroiled in a devastating two-generation long civil war that displaced and ravaged millions. In the face of conflict, a group of women began a “for-profit” business, which enabled them to not only transcend the brutalities of war, but also to plant the seeds for a foundation of peace within their homes, communities and country.
